Asharqia Chamber and the Commercial Arbitration Center for the Gulf Cooperation Council countries sign an agreement to support the business sector
Asharqia Chamber signed a cooperation agreement with the Commercial Arbitration Center for the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, to cooperate in the scientific and technical fields and exchange experiences in commercial arbitration in a way that contributes to the development of the business sector between the two parties.
The cooperation agreement was signed at the Chamber’s headquarters by Badr bin Sulaiman Al-Ruzaiza, Chairman of the Chamber’s Board of Directors, and Dr. Kamal bin Abdullah Al Hamad, Secretary-General of the Centre. The agreement aims to enhance aspects of joint cooperation and implement programs and events aimed at supporting the business sector in general.
The agreement reflects the keenness of the Chamber and the Center to implement initiatives that work to empower and enhance the role of the sector in serving the national and regional economy and work to develop it in line with the future visions of the sector, in addition to raising the level of awareness in the field of arbitration to contribute to overcoming the challenges that the business sector may face.
Al-Raziza confirmed that the agreement, which was signed on Thursday, July 11, 2024, comes within the Chamber’s efforts to support the business sector in the Eastern Region, as the Chamber works to organize workshops and training programs in which it hosts academics and specialists with the aim of reviewing ways and steps to develop the work mechanism in the sector and aspects of support that can enable it performing its developmental roles.
