Success through building personal identity for Asharqia Chamber businesswomen
As part of its efforts to enhance the impact of empowering and supporting women’s partnership in the business sector, the Asharqia Chamber of Commerce, represented by the Women’s Empowerment Center, organized a workshop titled “Success Through Building Personal Identity” on Tuesday and Wednesday, May 28-29, 2024, at the Chamber’s main headquarters. This workshop was part of the Leadership Initiative, which aims to attract a group of women for guidance and mentoring in the workplace, follow-up on tasks, and continuous development.
The workshop, presented by Susan Riyad, a specialist in human resource development and personal identity building, included 30 trainees from leadership and business owners. Susan Riyad focused on defining and developing personal identity, how to build it, the journey of self-discovery, and identifying one’s passion to achieve success, as well as the impact of personal identity on professional success.
Susan emphasized the importance of linking personal identity with the brand for business owners, connecting personal identity with corporate identity, and the correct management of personal identity through social media platforms.
It is noted that this program is part of the Chamber’s objectives to maximize the contribution to supporting human capital, enhance the impact of training and qualification programs in the labor market, improve the performance of entrepreneurship and small and emerging projects, and contribute positively to the achievement of Saudi Vision 2030. The Women’s Empowerment Center at the Asharqia Chamber of Commerce seeks to empower businesswomen as partners in economic development in the Eastern Province, support and develop the economic role of businesswomen in the region and overcome the challenges and difficulties women face in their role as active partners in economic development through empowerment, business development, guidance, and awareness.
