Asharqia Chamber reviews the labor rights in Khafji
Asharqia Chamber, represented by the Women’s Empowerment Center, on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, in its branch in Al-Khafji Governorate, organized a workshop within the Human Resources Empowerment Program under the title “Work Rights”, presented by lawyer Noir Al-Subaie, in the presence of a number of interested people and job seekers in the governorate.
During the workshop, Al-Subaie addressed the definition of labor rights, employer rights, worker rights, and the contractual relationship between the two parties, noting the importance of writing the contract because it preserves the rights and obligations and documents them for both contracting parties, preventing any dispute – God forbid – between them, and controlling the relationship between the two parties.
Al-Subaie referred to the process of documenting any agreement that occurs that guarantees the worker and the employer the preservation of his rights and the clarification of the rights and duties owed to him and the other party, which enables the employment process in a professional and legally sound manner and to avoid risks.
The program is part of activities aimed at empowering and supporting women’s partnership in the business sector and the labor market, maximizing the impact of contributing to supporting human capital, and maximizing the impact of training and qualification programs in the labor market, which contributes positively to Saudi Vision 2030.
